A Family Foundation
Peat's purpose
Andrus Peat came from a big family – one of seven children. After being drafted by the Saints, he knew he wanted to give back to the New Orleans community by making sure families got to experience Christmas with gifts under the tree for every child, in every family they could reach.
Those holiday events lit a fire inside Andrus and his wife, Ashley. They launched Peat’s Purpose because they wanted to do so much more than put presents under a tree each year. Now, they’ve expanded their efforts in hopes of helping families get practical resources, educational help, and athletic opportunities. From baby showers for single mothers to elementary school pep rallies to fundraising through celebrity sporting events, Peat’s Purpose is on the ground in NOLA, offering families tangible support and community.
Helping Families in NOLA + Beyond
As lovers of personal style and owners of the clothing line Seven Five, Andrus and Ashley are passionate about providing resources to up-and-coming fashion brands. The Peat’s Purpose Foundation offers mentorship and exposure for brands who may not have the financial resources to launch into the next level of the fashion space on their own.
