Work is an important part of life – but it’s not all of life. People have come to know me as The Aussie Publicist, but my life is filled with so much more. In this space, you’ll find equal parts PR work and fashion finds, travel content and philanthropy. So glad you stopped by!

My love of personal style and passion for great communication led me to two things: a career in fashion PR and a 2011 move from Melbourne to NYC. After working with incredible brands and coordinating the most celebrated fashion events in the world, I launched my own PR agency in 2015 to create more space for my growing business dreams. In the years since, I’ve always tried to use my voice and influence as a Black woman in business to advocate for inclusion, representation, and female entrepreneurship in my industry and beyond.

You already know The Aussie Publicist, but I’d like to reintroduce myself as Ashley Simmons Peat.

In addition to my career as a lifestyle and fashion PR powerhouse, I’m a business owner, an NFL wife, a boy mom, and a philanthropist. I may have managed PR for countless successful brands, but I know how to keep it real. Between launching a fashion line with my husband, chasing my toddler around the house, and mixing my Aussie accent with my New Orleans home, I love juggling a busy but fulfilling life, and empowering other women to do the same.
